Charitable Impact to Date

The 1979 Club has sponsored the 2nd Annual Bill Hallum Memorial Golf Tournament through a Diamond level sponsorship to help bring awareness to the disease of addiction and to help families who are struggling with addiction.

The 1979 Club and the UAH ATO Alumni Association has sponsored 7 brothers to attend Encounter '24. Encounter is a three-day, cabin retreat, designed to allow brothers to explore or deepen their spiritual identify.

In-lieu of making a cash donation to Rd. 15 of Battle of the Buffalo, The 1979 Club purchased two deep fryers to allow vendors to cook wings on site. This donation will allow the event to continue to scale for years to come.

The 1979 Club utilized funds to offset the cost of Theta-Pi's 45th Anniversary Celebration. Fostering brotherhood beyond college.

The 1979 Club sponsored the registration costs to register Battle of the Buffalo as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization. This will protect the event for years to come and will allow the active chapter to go after bigger donations and sponsorships.
